The Camels and the Art Gallery

Friday afternoon I took Em to New Haven for an afternoon at the Yale Art Gallery. It is medium-sized art museum (with free admission) that has some remarkable stuff. On the first floor we saw Van Gogh's Night Cafe and on the third floor we saw four paintings by Edward Hopper. Em liked Rooms by the Sea best and I liked Sunlight in a Cafeteria. On the way home we had supper at Panera's in Waterford.

Saturday I took Chris to Papa Gino's and to see the men's basketball Connecticut College Camels defeat the Red Hawks of RPI. It was a good game- for a while it seemed that the teams were evenly matched but then the Camels ted for most of the game.
