Former Friends

A former friend has sold his house and may be moving to Atlanta soon. We saw his wife in Wendy’s one Saturday afternoon and we chatted a little and she gave us the news. Her husband and I had been close friends for many years, but no more. It’s been almost three years since we spoke. I’ve tried to make contact but after my last attempt last March, something changed. I do still regret that he is no longer my friend, but I don’t carry it around any more. We each have to make our own decisions. I do wish him and his family well.
